Rome was founded the day 21st of April in 753 b.C. And has a story of about 2.700 years.

Capital of the glorious Roman Empire and of the ancient known-world, it has always distinguished for it's openness to games and cultural activities, and for the intelligence and organization of the ancient Roman people.

Nowadays Rome it's an international, cosmopolitan city, evolved and modified by the long story that has seen it has a protagonist as capital and main city of Italy. The “Eternal City” has always kept from it's past that openness and that interest to games and cultural activities.

The Coliseum, the ancient Fori Romani, the Circo Massimo, and the S.Pietro's Dome, will be the background of the best videogaming event ever realized in Italy. The event will take place in the Renzo Piano's “ Auditorium Parco della Musica “; the structure is breathtaking: it comprehends three big scarabs-shaped buildings of different sizes, covered with lead-plates; the scarabs are set in a radial pattern around the cavea, giving life to a big open amphiteatre. It measures 55.000 square meters and is one of the most exclusives location in Italy. The auditorium will be transformed in a Hi-tech arena for the 3 days.

In this Hi-tech arena 4.000 players will enter and participate to the World Console Championship, just like the ancient roman gladiators entered the Coliseum with the only difference that this time participants are not competing for their freedom but they're competing for fame, glory and an amazingly rich pool prize of 80.000 euros.
