On the graphic side, the texture are clean and convincing, also because of an exemplary bump mapping; the animations are smooth and realistic; the particles effect are appreciable; the graphic engine’s fluidity is good: it runs on 30 fps without slowdowns in crowded situations like the start or the bagars.

The tracks and the bikes are very well made; the simulative mode reproduces the real behaviour of the bike and has the intention to capture the enthusiastics’ attention, as they know every aspect of the bikes’set-up and enjoy the ultra-realism given by this mode.

The level of realism is incredibile: every trajectory has to be designed very precisely, doisng the gas when coming out from a turn is a necessary condition in order to not be thrown in the sky, flung off the bike.

Every physic reaction is perfectly reproduced: skid, side-slips, derapages, wheelies are amazingly realistic. The chance of controlling the pilot himself, as a different unit from the bike, affects the motorbike control: in fact, with the left analog stick, the player can control the steering direction, but also the pilot’s body, raising it up before a braking situation, or crouching it on a rectilinear!

The iper-realistic 3D reproduction of the paddocks and the telemetry are two noticeable and important innovations.
