Halo it’s a first person shooting trilogy developed by Bungie Studios, in exclusive for X-box 360. Halo 3 is the final chapter of this amazing trilogy, that has forever marked the history of this genre: it has earned 170 million dollars just in the first day it came out, beating any previously set record for entertaining products.

In terms of graphics, Halo has estabilished, in an ultra-competitive genre, such as the FPS one, top class-high qualitative standards, becoming the benchmark to which compare all the other FPS.

The perfection in the ambience developing it’s astonishing, both the internal and the external settings are made using graphic techniques wisely (Bump Mapping and Texture HD, make enemies, ground and weapons almost real and touchable). The aliasing effect, that we could find in the previous two chapters of Halo has significantly improved.

Both the inner and outer lights effect are amazing (the outer ones in particular); the fire effect from the weapons and the explosion are strongly improved.

Everything is put together by a good and realistic physic engine, while the 30 fps frame rate is constant and doesn’t slow down in crowdy situations.
