With the II World War taken back to the story books and the Infinity Ward back in action on the development of Call of Duty 4 (CoD3 has been developed by Treyarch), the californian developers gave birth to a unique masterpiece: the 4th chapter of the CoD series, takes place, for the first time, in a contemporary war against an hypothetical coalition between Russian ultra-nationalists and Islamic terrorist. The player will be able to impersonate the US Army, the Marines, or he English SAS, to use the 70 new weaponry items that replace the old and dusty IIWW weapons, and to call for air support.

The ad-hoc graphic engine includes features like: real world-dynamic lighting, HDR light effects, dynamic shadows and depth of field; together with a very realistic particle management system, capable of reproducing in a realistic way all the kinds of smoke, and with very good polygonal models for soldiers and animations, dued to a very well-made motion capture. The texture are high level, but not exceptional, but very realistic and not plastic-style at all; it’s a shame for the vegetation’s and sky’s textures, maybe the only graphic flaw in an exceptional game like this.

For the soundtrack, Harry Williams does always a great job, while for the sounds in game, they are very realistic and different for every kind of weapon.
This title is made for multiplayer, a really strong aspect of this game: it includes the new Graduation system and 16 new maps, with a very careful and precise level design, that works well either when the room is full or when just 6-8 players are playing.

The frenetic and challenging action of the multiplayer makes this game the best and most complete war simulation on the market, so come to The Gameland and fight for the 6.000 euros given to the Champion Team!

Note: For the 2 vs 2 mode, the registration on our site will not be available. You will have to book yourself a seat for this tournament when you will already be inside The Gameland.
